French economic mission looking for oil economic cooperation
Al Wabel emphasizing the opportunities in the region and calls for marketing exhibitions
Acting Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman Al Wabel emphasizes that Eastern Region is ready for major investment opportunities in the fields of oil, gas and petrochemicals, where he discussed several ways and means of improving trade and business cooperation between the Kingdom and France, during his meeting on Saturday, December 18, 2010 with Arthur Melt of the Economic Attaché at the French Embassy ,Meeting was held in the chamber headquarter in Dammam.
Al Wabel said that kingdom has enormous potential in the services sector, referring to the domestic and foreign investments attracted by Jubail and Ras Al-Zour, which is currently estimated with billions of dollars as well as industrial projects in the Jubail Industrial City.
He also stressed on the importance of organizing trade missions for small and medium enterprises between France and Kingdom, calling for organizing French marketing exhibitions in the chamber to introduce french products for businessmen of the region.
For his part, Arthur Melt indicates that his visit was meant to search for modern methods to enhance trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and relations between enterprises of both countries in various areas of benefit to both parties and to give a special focus on opportunities for trade and business in the Eastern Region.
